Imet BS 350 SHI Bandsaw
The BS 350 SHI is a heavy-duty hydraulic, semi-automatic bandsaw with mitre cutting capabilities ranging from 0° to 60° on the right and from 0° to 45° on the left. It is highly recommended for production situations, particularly when cutting square sections or flat bars. This is due to its unique below centre pivot point, which causes the blade to be inclined at the end of the cut, offering the line of least resistance for these materials. The advantages of this design are faster cut times, longer blade life, a wider range of materials that can be cut with each blade pitch, and reduced stress on the machine components. It is important not to underestimate the significance of this feature, combined with the robust construction and high-quality components, all of which contribute to making the BS350 a leading product in its class.
The bandsaw features hydraulic semi-automatic operation and allows for mitre cutting from 0° to 60° on the left and from 0° to 45° on the right. It is equipped with a hydraulic vice that has adjustable guides, allowing it to move freely alongside the worktable. The vice also offers quick motion and clamping capabilities. Convenient stops are available at 0°, 45°, 60° on the left, and 45° on the right. The blade tension can be adjusted from the front side of the sawframe and can be checked using an end-stroke mechanism. The blade guides are equipped with hard metal pads and an additional bearing for blade alignment.
The sawframe is constructed from steel with a tubular section and features pulleys with a diameter of 360 mm. A mechanical device, known as a position sensor, enables the sawframe to lower quickly toward the material and automatically detect the starting point of the cut. The cutting capacity of the BS350 is as follows: up to 255 mm for rounds, up to 240 mm for squares, and up to 300×180 mm for rectangular pieces.

Micro-mist Bandsaw
This bandsaw is equipped with a pure oil micro-mist blade lubrication system. It is recommended for cutting tubes and sectional materials where the loss of flood lubricant through the material is an issue. This precise delivery system allows for adjustment of the number of pulses per minute and the quantity of each dose. Please note that a compressed air supply is required.
The standard flood system is still available for cutting solid materials, and the operator can easily switch between the two systems.
